IT Support Engineer (Warehouse IT)

Location: Fully onsite in Wallingford, Oxford, UK. The role requires full availability for a mandatory weekend rota and includes one day per month at the UK HQ. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Provide first-line onsite IT support for warehouse and office staff, including triage, resolution, and escalation of complex issues.
• Set up, configure, enrol, and maintain laptops and workstations through MDM solutions.
• Support warehouse hardware such as handheld scanners, barcode readers, label printers, thermal printers, and packing-station equipment.
• Administer Google Workspace accounts and groups, including account creation, suspension, and troubleshooting.
• Manage starter and leaver setups, IT assets, equipment recovery, and consumable stock levels.
• Provide responsive weekend IT cover and resolve issues that could block dispatch and fulfilment.

Requirements

• At least two years of hands-on IT support experience through an apprenticeship, service desk, or first-line support role.
• Practical experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, warehouse equipment, and local infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS.
• Full availability for the mandatory weekend rota is required.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Wallingford, Oxford, including physically setting up, moving, and racking equipment.
• Right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience administering Google Workspace or using MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Microsoft Intune.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or operational environment.
• Familiarity with ticketing and service-desk tools.
• Basic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi access points, switches, and cabling.
• CompTIA A+ or a similar entry-level IT certification.

Hiring process
