Production Supervisor-Synthetics - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage daily operations, staffing levels, budgets, equipment, materials, and order fulfillment for assigned production departments.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance against plant objectives.
• Train and guide employees on production skills, standard work, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Lead communication and collaboration across operators, departments, shifts, and organizational levels.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles, SPC, and DMAIC.
• Administer company rules and safety policies and initiate corrective actions when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including experience leading or directing others.
• At least 3 years of direct manufacturing supervision experience is preferred.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, metric-driven analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example and support standard work.
• U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Six Sigma training and experience with High Performance Work teams.
