Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Edwardsville, Kansas, USA; onsite at a production facility on the 3rd shift

What you will do

• Direct, coordinate, and plan production department activities and hourly manufacturing workforces according to the master production schedule.
• Lead machine operators and communicate production procedures, job orders, assignments, and operational expectations.
• Manage daily workflow, update the Operational Data Entry Network, and interpret production reports and cycle-time specifications.
• Review production data and support Overall Equipment Effectiveness, uptime KPIs, and informed operational decisions.
• Promote safety, corporate programs, customer responsiveness, and the development of new hires.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, and supervisory or managerial experience.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes, manufacturing principles, OEE, Lean, or TPM.
• Strong math, written, oral, reading, comprehension, reporting, and business correspondence skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems, plus experience leading, coaching, and developing teams through performance metrics.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Spanish, sign language, or another language.
• Manufacturing program planning, inventory control, change management, or UV/TP/OSF ink manufacturing experience.
