What you will do
- Lead new issuance rating processes for fund debt transactions and corporate credit instruments.
- Analyze corporate loan, bond, direct lending, and structured credit portfolios, including collateral quality, portfolio composition, and asset performance.
- Conduct due diligence with asset managers, direct lenders, arrangers, and issuers.
- Prepare rating memoranda and reports and present recommendations to rating committees.
- Lead surveillance of outstanding transactions, tracking credit migration, portfolio performance, and concentration trends.
- Build financial models, develop analytical frameworks, collaborate across credit teams, and mentor junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in corporate credit, private credit, direct lending, fund investing, CLO analysis, or structured finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing legal documents and understanding liability structures, LTV and advance rates, payment priorities, and structural protections.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling, cash flow projections, and stress scenario analysis.
- Ability to assess the creditworthiness of funds, assets, and counterparties and apply rating methodologies.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.

- CFA or MBA.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and productivity.
