What you will do

• Provide accounting and reporting services for private markets clients.
• Manage client deliverables and coordinate with internal departments across multiple jurisdictions to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and review NAV calculations, financial statements, partner capital statements, management fee calculations, drawdowns, distributions, and supporting work papers.
• Oversee client general ledgers and records while supporting external audits and third-party reporting.
• Act as a daily client contact, prepare meeting materials, and support ongoing client relationships.
• Implement processes and technology that improve controls, efficiency, and new business capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledgers, and financial statements within private markets.
• Knowledge of private markets, NAV calculations, and capital activities.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Strong client service, communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or similar; nearly or fully qualified.
• University degree in Accounting, Business, or a related financial discipline.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working for a private markets fund manager.
• Experience with investment accounting, fund administration, client servicing, or investor servicing.
