Senior Product Designer (Okta Privileged Access)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid

Annual base salary: CAD 118,000–162,000

What you will do

• Lead and execute product design strategy for Okta Privileged Access.
• Design end-to-end workflows for IT administrators, security administrators, end users, infrastructure engineers, and developers.
• Translate user insights and business goals into secure, efficient product experiences across the Okta portfolio.
• Develop scalable design patterns and maintain high standards for usability, quality, and consistency.
• Collaborate with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science.
• Present concepts and design decisions to cross-functional teams, adjacent teams, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• Portfolio demonstrating complex technical projects across research, discovery, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design, including shipped products.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to balance user goals, business objectives, and engineering considerations.
• Experience incorporating AI into the design process, including evaluating AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy, design-system adherence, and usability.

Nice to have

• Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience designing products for IT, security, infrastructure, or other complex technical domains.
