Production Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Clinton, Tennessee, United States. Travel may include up to 10%. Relocation may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Expected compensation: $84,595–$103,394 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule production orders while monitoring work center output, customer requirements, and operational efficiency.
• Place purchase orders and communicate with suppliers about open orders and future requirements.
• Maintain and optimize production planning parameters for service and inventory targets.
• Manage material and capacity exceptions with cross-functional teams to balance service, inventory, and cost.
• Publish service and inventory metrics and support phase-in, phase-out, and inventory control activities.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects while supporting a strong environmental health and safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, completed and verified before starting.
• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or manufacturing is beneficial; two years of combined experience is preferred.
• Experience in material, production, or supply planning.
• Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working on cross-functional teams.
• APICS certification.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
