Senior Planner (Manufacturing Planning)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain forecasts and monthly master production plans for assigned product lines.
• Create and manage build plans, capacity plans, manufacturing jobs, sales-order priorities, and ship dates.
• Set inventory and safety-stock targets while tracking inventory against customer demand and production requirements.
• Identify and resolve material shortages, late jobs, quality issues, schedule changes, and customer expedite requests.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Line Management, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Manage change orders, corrective and preventive actions, internal audits, compliance activities, and planning metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or APICS certification.
• 3–5 years of production planning and scheduling experience in a mixed-model manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing scheduling processes; Microsoft AX experience is preferred.
• US Person status is required due to ITAR-regulated technology, materials, software, hardware, and documentation.
• Must be a US citizen, permanent US resident, or protected individual under 8 USC 1324b(a)(3).
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, demand, replenishment, forecasting, capacity planning, data analysis, communication, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with Demantra or Demand Works Smoothie forecasting tools.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and process improvement leadership.
