What you will do
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials across departments according to daily and weekly production schedules.
- Adjust production schedules with purchasing and production teams based on machine, material, and staffing availability.
- Lead demand and inventory planning for the assigned area, building cross-functional consensus around customer service and revenue objectives.
- Schedule and release daily work, monitor inventory, and resolve production, order promising, and delivery issues.
- Manage product configuration assumptions and support new product introductions and end-of-sale transitions.
- Improve planning processes and systems utilization, including serving as an SAP super user.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field or two years of related supply chain experience in a similar environment.
- At least one year of purchasing, planning, or related experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage shifting deadlines, prioritize assignments, solve problems, and make objective business decisions.
- Strong analytical, project management, contract negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work onsite in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and perform regular standing, walking, computer-based work, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, ERP, or MRP systems.
- Materials or supply chain certifications.
- Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) best practices.
