Salary: USD 64,000–93,600 yearly; the location-specific pay range is USD 30.90–45.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in machinery and equipment.
• Formulate electrical circuit layouts and wire new test setups.
• Install strain gauge circuits and recording instruments to measure test-article performance.
• Verify electrical test conditions and troubleshoot electrical portions of test equipment during test programs.
• Monitor complex safety interlocks and warning systems to prevent equipment damage and operational delays.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of constructing, installing, operating, and troubleshooting sophisticated circuitry and controls.
• Knowledge of electronics components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment effectively.
• Ability to anticipate and respond quickly to danger signs from intricate warning systems.
• Availability for a rotating schedule of 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., three days on and four days off, rotating every eight weeks.
