Field Service Lead (Electrical Equipment)

Location: Pennsylvania, with work at customer sites and travel to regional field offices and vendor sites; up to 75% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead startup and commissioning activities for electrical equipment across multiple customer sites.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and provide technical support to approximately eight field service technicians.
• Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting electrical equipment, product issues, and quality concerns.
• Coordinate tools, materials, documentation, manpower coverage, and field service schedules.
• Resolve punch-list items, coordinate with project managers, and complete project closeout documentation.
• Participate in training activities, factory witness tests, and shop testing at IEM facilities and vendor sites.

Requirements

• Associate degree, vocational training, military experience, or equivalent experience with power distribution systems and related equipment.
• At least two years of field service experience focused on electrical equipment startup and commissioning.
• Experience with switchgear, electrical distribution systems, or electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of lockout/tag-out procedures involving multiple power sources.
• Ability to interpret technical information, solve field problems, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to bend, lift, and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Prior supervisory or lead-level experience.
• Familiarity with advanced communication protocols and networking concepts.
