Engineer I, Electrical - Boss Snowplow

Salary: $68,200–$85,300 annual cash compensation

BOSS Snowplow, a division of The Toro Company, develops snow and ice management equipment including truck, UTV, and ATV plows, salt and sand spreaders, and box plows.

What you will do

• Design and analyze electrical and electronic components and subsystems for new and revised products.
• Develop product design plans, schedules, budgets, specifications, drawing packages, and bills of material.
• Build prototypes and coordinate electrical design work with product development, manufacturing, quality, testing, purchasing, and other teams.
• Work with vendors to finalize designs, define specifications, and verify that requirements are met.
• Develop customer-representative tests, evaluate test data, identify failures, and implement design revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with customer needs, safety requirements, industry standards, and the documented quality system.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Professional Engineering license, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
• Ability to create and analyze assigned product designs with direction and leadership.
• Ability to collaborate in teams and provide task or project leadership.
• Travel to test sites, distributors, customers, vendors, and manufacturing facilities is required.
