Salary: $82,900–$134,300 per year

What you will do

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and technicians.
  • Plan and coordinate engineering activities, project schedules, budgets, and priorities.
  • Develop and release enhanced features for boom lifts, scissor lifts, vertical lifts, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations, component and subsystem design, validation, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, and compliance with engineering and drawing standards.
  • Present and defend technical decisions to engineering leadership, company leadership, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five or more years of related engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.
  • Experience with a high-level CAD system.
  • Ability to make significant technical and resource-allocation decisions, communicate effectively, and mentor engineering staff.
