Customer Service Representative - Bilingual

Location: Horizon Palmetto, FL (TWC) - H814, 1016 12th Ave East, Palmetto, Florida 34221. On-site, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Salary: $18–$20 per hour, plus up to $2,500 through performance bonuses.

Horizon Distributors is a wholly owned subsidiary of hirify.global and distributes landscape, irrigation, swimming pool, and outdoor living products through sales centers across the United States.

What you will do

• Assist walk-in and phone customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products and complementary items.
• Prepare sales orders and help customers select and load merchandise.
• Follow up with current and potential customers to introduce products and generate additional business.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, warehouse duties, and facility safety.
• Operate forklifts safely, maintain certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies.

Requirements

• Strong customer-service attitude with clear spoken and written communication.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, cooperative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer and record-keeping skills, with the ability to learn new systems and handheld technology.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Possess or obtain forklift certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Irrigation experience or knowledge of landscape products.
