Intel Foundry Process Development Engineer - Lithography

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $133,800–$255,200 USD.

What you will do

• Lead scientific research supporting innovative semiconductor device architectures and advanced process technologies.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications for lithography and related processes.
• Develop lithography photoresist, layer processes, and integrated process solutions.
• Integrate individual process steps required to manufacture complex microprocessors.
• Drive yield improvement, patterning defect reduction, and process robustness.
• Ramp technologies to manufacturing volumes and transfer them to manufacturing counterparts using the Copy Exactly methodology.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or Ph.D. with 2+ years of semiconductor industry experience, in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• 5+ years of professional or industry experience in lithography photoresist evaluation or development, layer process development, yield improvement, or patterning defect reduction.
• Experience with semiconductor processing, fabrication, or nanotechnology.
• Experience with design of experiments, Statistical Process Control, and computational data skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize performance and reliability, and collaborate across development teams.

Nice to have

• Integrated process development and lithography patterning impact troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using coding for data collection and analysis.
• Knowledge of modern semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with factory automation or manufacturing control systems.
