Principal Integration Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Malta, New York, USA; onsite work in a 300mm wafer fabrication facility.

Salary: $85,000–$146,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Identify, resolve, and improve semiconductor process integration issues in advanced technology manufacturing.
• Develop custom and derivative processes to meet customer-specific product and technology requirements.
• Support new designs through module characterization and design rule development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and yield concerns.
• Develop test structures for rigorous process characterization and drive continuous improvement plans.
• Support environmental, health, safety, and security requirements while completing additional engineering assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering or physical science discipline.
• At least 4 years of semiconductor or fab-related experience with advanced technology at the 20nm node or below.
• Experience transferring, implementing, ramping, and sustaining process technologies in high-volume foundry manufacturing.
• Experience with customer-specific technology targeting, process customization, simplification, optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Minimal travel; the role may require applying for a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance if requested.
