Principal Integration Engineer (RF SOI)

Location: Malta, New York, USA; onsite semiconductor manufacturing environment

Salary: $85,000–$146,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Lead process integration teams on baseline improvements and continuous improvement projects for 45RFSOI and 45RFe technologies.
• Run new product introductions with zero execution errors, incorporate customer feedback, and debug issues through resolution.
• Own a technology module, prioritize projects, delegate work, define improvement experiments, and lead hardware disposition.
• Sustain and improve manufacturing technologies by increasing product quality, reducing defectivity, improving process stability, and raising processing efficiency.
• Use manufacturing data to detect line issues and drive timely containment and resolution to protect yield and delivery.
• Collaborate with process module, device, yield enhancement, program management, customer engineering, packaging, and reliability teams on new production technologies and cost improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Solid-State Physics, or a relevant STEM field with 4–5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, an MS with 2–4 years or a PhD with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills covering schedules, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Structured problem-solving skills, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, and the ability to work with diverse internal and external partners.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment and cleanroom suits as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with FEOL or BEOL processes and RF SOI technology.
• Experience with active and passive devices and semiconductor manufacturing methods.
• Results-oriented approach and motivation to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
