Sr. Engagement Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering - Public Sector

Location: Remote from Virginia or Washington, D.C., United States; travel up to 25–50% may be required.

Salary: $130,300–$179,200 USD annually, plus potential performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and independently scope complex, multi-quarter initiatives for public sector customers.
• Drive regional excellence, booking targets, and consumption goals.
• Develop account strategies aligned with customer goals and lead sales of complex Professional Services & Training offerings.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders across multiple engagements.
• Coach junior Engagement Managers and serve as a resource for peers on complex projects.
• Participate in hiring and help attract top-tier talent.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in Professional Services.
• Expert understanding of Professional Services & Training offerings and the ability to customize solutions for complex environments.
• Proven thought leadership and growing recognition as an external industry expert.
• Expertise in Databricks architecture, ecosystem, and strategic account planning.
• Active high-level security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25–50% as required.
