Senior Data Engineer Consultant (Databricks)

Location: Maastricht, Netherlands, with flexible work across the office, home, and client sites. Work permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global at professional events and contribute to articles, white papers, and webinars.
• Develop proposals, identify collaboration opportunities, and build long-term client relationships.
• Manage client engagements as a trusted advisor and data engineering subject matter expert for middle and senior management.
• Supervise and mentor junior to medior consultants, reviewing deliverables and supporting their technical and interpersonal development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with substantial programming.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Experience or strong interest in data engineering and data- and AI-related topics.
• Working knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required.
