Senior Implementation Consultant (Federal Projects)

Location: Remote within the United States; proximity to Washington, DC is preferred. Up to 25% travel is required to support federal clients.

Salary: $102,615–$138,750 USD base per year. The role is also eligible for a commission of $34,205–$46,250 USD.

What you will do

• Lead consulting engagements for federal government clients and contractors, both onsite and through web conferences.
• Analyze, architect, design, and develop large-scale data engineering and database solutions.
• Gather requirements, review data, demonstrate products, and manage billable professional services engagements.
• Document and present complex architectures to customer technical teams and federal stakeholders.
• Drive implementations from requirements and design through delivery, knowledge transfer, and customer support.
• Support the sales process, provide product feedback, and coordinate with internal teams on successful deployments.

Requirements

• Active or recent DOD Security Clearance required.
• At least 5 years of customer-facing professional services experience.
• At least 3 years designing and deploying large-scale database solutions.
• Experience with federal government contractors or agencies, SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, relational databases, and enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, data replication, and change data capture.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Programming or scripting experience with Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, or Scala.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
