2nd Shift Supervisor Production Operations - Hardware (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Chaska, Minnesota, United States

Annual salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the manufacturing assembly process for immunoassay diagnostic instruments.
• Manage direct reports, work requirements, performance feedback, career guidance, and professional development.
• Use standard work, daily management, and lean manufacturing principles to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
• Drive problem-solving and build sustainable processes that support production plans.
• Use DBS tools, Kaizen, and Gemba practices to identify and implement continuous improvements.
• Set and deliver challenging operational goals in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5+ years, or a master's degree with 3+ years.
• Experience leading production teams through measurable goals, performance standards, and structured feedback.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen, 5S, and Gemba.
• Track record of building sustainable processes that deliver production plans and organizational goals.
• Competence in data analysis for process improvement and KPI tracking.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and knowledge of FDA, QSR, ISO, or GMP requirements.
• Certification or demonstrated proficiency in applicable hirify.global Business System tools.
• Additional continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience.
