Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Fairport, NY, United States; onsite manufacturing plant

Salary: $73,100–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, production schedules, and quality specifications.
• Lead, train, and motivate production workers while maintaining clear communication with management and staff.
• Monitor quality and safety compliance, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify efficiency gains, reduce waste, and lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events.
• Track raw materials and finished goods and coordinate material availability with procurement.
• Maintain production records, report results to the Plant Manager, and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with manufacturing software and tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
