Manufacturing Supervisor (7 Days on 7 Days off Rotating Shifts Days/Midnights)

Location: Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States; onsite role with 7 days on and 7 days off rotating day and midnight shifts

Salary: $95,591–$116,834 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible

What you will do

• Promote a safe and sustainable manufacturing environment and lead incident investigations.
• Lead production teams through coaching, cross-training, scheduling, work allocation, feedback, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and monitor production workflow, rates, yields, and product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement in scheduling, quality, efficiency, cost reduction, and workplace safety.
• Manage shift administration, including time reporting, attendance, vacation planning, overtime, and training completion.
• Support plant leadership, alternative-shift coverage, and 24/7 production operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of manufacturing or production experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of such experience.
• Experience may come from private, public, government, or military settings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, prioritization, organizational, computer, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve process issues and communicate effectively with operators, plant employees, and management.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• U.S. person status assessment may be required because of U.S. export-control regulations and Department of Defense contracts.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Previous supervisory, project leadership, team leadership, or management experience.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading cost reduction, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
