Senior Counsel (Voice AI)

Location: On-site in Redwood City, California, United States; relocation support provided.

Salary: $230,000–$270,000 annually, plus equity and a relocation bonus.

What you will do

• Build hirify.global's legal function from the ground up and report directly to the founder.
• Serve as Sales' primary legal partner on enterprise agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, BAAs, and order forms.
• Create contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and turnaround SLAs to keep enterprise deals moving.
• Set legal positions on call recording consent, TCPA, AI disclosure, and customer use-case reviews.
• Own platform terms, acceptable use and privacy policies, and outside counsel spend.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active membership in the California State Bar required.
• 6+ years of commercial or technology transactions experience, or 4+ years in a technology transactions group at a top law firm.
• Strong judgment for balancing legal risk with deal speed.
• Precision and speed in contract redlines, with the ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-lawyers.
• US work authorization sponsorship is available for qualified candidates, including H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, and F-1 OPT/CPT.

Nice to have

• Experience with privacy and AI regulation, including GDPR, CCPA, or the EU AI Act.
• Background in telecom, TCPA, or healthcare and BAA matters.
