Additive Manufacturing Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Set up additive manufacturing machines, prepare builds, load materials, and handle metal powders.
• Support Laser Powder Bed Fusion and Metal Binder Jet production operations.
• Perform machine cleaning, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, powder recycling, sieving, and storage.
• Complete production records, inspection documentation, work orders, and material traceability records.
• Perform basic visual inspections, report defects, and support safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and production teams; assist with inventory and material movement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and interest in advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, use basic computer systems, and learn manufacturing software.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, wear respirators and other required PPE, and comply with aerospace quality standards.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.
• Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demands; frequent lifting and movement of objects weighing 26–45 pounds may be required.
