What you will do

• Lead daily service operations for a growing fleet of additive manufacturing systems, covering safety, maintenance execution, equipment availability, and production support.
• Hire, train, coach, qualify, and develop Service Specialists and Lead Service Specialists.
• Establish standardized maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, documentation, and service practices across shifts.
• Improve equipment reliability, utilization, service response, spare-parts strategies, and maintenance effectiveness using operational data.
• Coordinate Engineering, Production, Quality, Controls, suppliers, and service staff during installations, commissioning, upgrades, and complex equipment issues.
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, safety improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Leadership experience in high-reliability manufacturing or technical environments, including performance management and team development.
• Experience leading maintenance, service, manufacturing, or technical operations in complex automated environments.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, automation, machine-control, and system-level issues.
• Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing technology, equipment, and processes in a factory environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, documentation, safety, and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with metal additive manufacturing, large-format LPBF printers, laser systems, optics, precision motion, robotics, PLCs, or industrial networks.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, reliability metrics, workforce planning, or shift operations.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, AS9100, IATF 16949, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
