Additive Manufacturing Technician (SLS & EBM)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Operate and monitor SLS systems for polymer materials such as PA12, medical-grade nylon, and PEEK.
• Operate EBM systems for metal materials such as Ti6Al4V ELI, including machine setup, vacuum checks, and beam calibration.
• Prepare build files, handle and recover powders, perform sieving and blending, and manage material refresh and recycling procedures.
• Perform depowdering, post-processing, inspection, and coordinate heat treatment and HIP activities.
• Maintain build logs, material traceability records, production documentation, and inventory levels.
• Identify process improvements and provide KPI updates through daily management boards.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience handling metal powders, preferably titanium alloys, and understanding of powder-bed fusion process parameters.
• Familiarity with GD&T and inspection tools.
• Strong documentation skills in regulated manufacturing environments, with attention to FDA and ISO 13485 compliance.
• Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States and be able to maintain it without employment visa sponsorship.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SLS and/or EBM systems.
• Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
