Contract Recruiter (Technical)

Location: Remote within the United States, with availability during US East Coast or Central business hours

Salary: $80–$100 per hour

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of product and engineering requisitions from intake through signed offer.
• Source and engage passive engineering candidates through GitHub, open-source communities, and technical networks.
• Partner with engineering hiring managers to define scorecards, technical requirements, and hiring priorities.
• Coordinate technical interview loops, facilitate debriefs, and drive timely hiring decisions.
• Manage offers within approved compensation bands and partner with Finance on exceptions.
• Maintain accurate Ashby data and report on pipeline health and progress against hiring goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical roles.
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, early-stage startup with fewer than 400 employees.
• Proven ability to source and close technical talent, especially for Python, Go, and enterprise software roles.
• Experience with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Wellfound, and other job boards.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Availability during US East Coast or Central business hours for the duration of the contract.
