HR Director, SPG

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. The role requires travel approximately 10% of the time and is relocation eligible.

Salary: $172,000–$237,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Partner with Semiconductor Products Group executives and general managers on organization design, workforce planning, and people strategy.
• Use workforce and business data to identify organizational risks and support executive-level decisions.
• Develop talent, succession, and integrated workforce strategies with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Talent Management teams.
• Lead organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, integration, and workforce transitions.
• Coach senior leaders, provide candid feedback, and influence decisions without formal authority.
• Translate HR and business priorities into execution plans with clear ownership, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, organizational psychology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR business partnership with senior executives in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Experience shaping organization design, workforce planning, and talent strategy in technology, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical capability and experience using workforce and business data for executive decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and influence senior leaders and deliver candid feedback.
• Ability to manage complexity, competing stakeholder perspectives, ambiguity, restructuring, and leadership conflict.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS/MA in HR or organizational development.
• HR leadership experience in a global semiconductor, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing company.
• Experience supporting significant growth, restructuring, or M&A integration.
• Experience with shared-services or Center-of-Excellence HR models.
