MineStar® Site Manager (Mining Technology)

Location: Must be based in Australia, with the role supporting Freeport Indonesia on an international FIFO roster. This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications and professional industry experience, plus site, shift and FIFO allowances.

What you will do

• Act as hirify.global’s primary MineStar® representative and trusted advisor at the customer site.
• Develop strategies to improve technology performance, fleet utilisation, customer outcomes, and operating results.
• Monitor availability, production, operating costs, utilisation, and safety metrics.
• Support the deployment, implementation, upgrading, and continuous improvement of MineStar® Fleet and Command systems.
• Lead the resolution of complex operational and technical issues and identify optimisation opportunities through performance analysis.
• Coach site personnel and align hirify.global support activities with customer objectives and recovery strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, IT, software engineering, or a related discipline, required to meet Indonesian work visa eligibility requirements.
• Significant experience in mining technology, MineStar®, fleet management systems, automation, or operational technology.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, equipment management, and operational improvement.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence operational and leadership stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-success skills.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency, and the ability to obtain and maintain all visas, work permits, and approvals required to work in Indonesia.
