Data Science Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Menlo Park, California; in-person attendance is expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $44 per hour in Zone 1.

What you will do

• Partner with a team member on a brokerage product line such as Agentic Trading, Prediction Markets, Portfolio Margin, Trading Products, Trading Tools, Robinhood Social, or Legend.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to identify product growth opportunities and improve core business metrics.
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B experiments and causal inference studies to evaluate product changes.
• Define product performance metrics and build scalable dashboards for decision-making.
• Create data visualizations and narratives for product, engineering, operations, and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Lead analytics projects that uncover user insights, inform product strategy, and deliver measurable business impact.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program, with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Graduate studies in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or natural science.
• Strong expertise in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL or relevant languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience working in financial technology.
