2027 Launch Program: Data Science Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Fort Mill, South Carolina office near Charlotte, North Carolina; onsite Monday–Thursday and remote on Fridays.

Salary: $3,846 per bi-weekly pay period

What you will do

• Transform large volumes of digital-property impressions and unstructured data into insights about brands and consumers.
• Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, optimization techniques, and large language model AI to real-world decision-making problems.
• Own one or two data science projects from initial scoping through testing, iteration, and final presentation.
• Collect and process data from disparate and complex relational data sources.
• Translate business opportunities into data science problems and define project performance metrics.
• Communicate project status, timelines, technical results, and recommendations to business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Graduating in Winter 2027 or Summer 2028 with a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Available to start in Summer 2027 at the Fort Mill, South Carolina office.
• Experience solving complex problems with predictive modeling.
• Extensive experience querying and processing data from complex relational databases.
• Training and knowledge in machine learning, statistical modeling, and/or optimization.
• Required statistical programming knowledge in Python or R, plus strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Expertise in deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, LLMs, or recommender systems.
• Knowledge of digital attribution, digital data investigation, and testing.
