Solutions Consultant (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

Base salary: $87,120–$108,900 USD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of common integrations covering purchase orders, bookings, advanced shipping notifications, shipment milestones, and freight invoices.
• Gather functional requirements, design project requirements, manage functional testing, and document operational impacts for complex integrations.
• Work with Solutions Engineers to create business objects and scenarios for integration testing.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing with customers and Client Solutions before integration go-live.
• Support adoption, triage integration issues, collect feedback, and recommend product improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Global Operations, Product, and Solutions Engineering throughout pre-sales and delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience driving integrations between customers, hirify.global, and ERP, TMS, WMS, or similar business systems.
• Familiarity with transmission protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and AS2, plus JSON, XML, and delimited file formats.
• Comfort using AI-assisted tools for troubleshooting, documentation, testing, or workflow automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and project leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Experience working with APIs, data analytics, data manipulation, and system integrations.
• Supply-chain, logistics, or operations experience.
