Control Systems Engineering Specialist (Embedded Systems)

Location: Full-time onsite at the Mossville, Illinois office, United States. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Travel is 10%.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, specify, and document product and embedded control system requirements.
• Design electrohydraulic embedded control systems, including new features and improvements to existing functionality.
• Lead implementation and delivery of model-based software components using Simulink and support AUTOSAR-compliant architectures.
• Test, tune, and debug software through Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, Hardware-in-the-Loop, and on-machine testing.
• Collaborate with clients and partner teams on post-production support and lead or mentor software development engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with requirements analysis, software specification, workflow management, version control, and configuration management.
• Experience developing real-time embedded control software with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for automotive or mobile equipment applications.
• Proficiency with AUTOSAR and generating AUTOSAR-compliant code from Simulink.
• Knowledge of Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, with familiarity with Vector Network Interfaces, CANape, and CANalyzer.
• Ability to work full-time at the Mossville, Illinois office and operate heavy construction machinery at proving grounds or field sites.
