Diesel Mechanic

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite position.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel vehicles, trucks, and fleet equipment.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify equipment issues or malfunction sources using maintenance tools.
• Perform oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work.
• Follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common equipment faults.
• Complete applicable company training programs and support drivers by maintaining route-ready equipment.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Certified diesel maintenance training and ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification are beneficial but not required.
