Maintenance Technician

Crane Aerospace & Electronics operates the production facility where this maintenance role supports buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment.

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, equipment, buildings, structures, grounds, and parking areas.
• Clean, inspect, lubricate, troubleshoot, and repair machinery such as welders, lathes, and pumps.
• Maintain Total Productive Maintenance programs and support equipment reliability while reducing unplanned downtime.
• Run 120V to 280V three-phase wiring, install and repair water lines, and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, motors, and controls.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records, equipment service histories, and completed-maintenance evidence for IATF 16949 requirements.
• Inspect emergency systems and coordinate with vendors and service providers on specialized repairs and site safety documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain and repair industrial machinery and read wiring diagrams.
• Ability to wire 120V and 240V three-phase electrical systems, work with basic motors and motor controls, and troubleshoot AC/DC drives.
• Ability to braze copper tubing and use measurement devices such as rulers, measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to read and understand standard work instructions and maintain preventive maintenance documentation.
• High school education and the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and other physically demanding activities.

Nice to have

• Previous welding experience or experience supporting welding functions.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 maintenance controls and equipment records.
