Offline Technician

JLG, an Oshkosh company, develops and manufactures access equipment such as mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories.

What you will do

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair facility-specific access equipment before shipment.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using blueprints, electrical schematics, and specialty tools.
• Identify defects, help trace them to their point of origin, and support corrective actions.
• Verify machine configurations against sales orders and complete the EQC process.
• Work across assembly-line stations, support new team-member training, and use electronic systems including EQC, MDS, JED, and AS400.
• Contribute to issue resolution, new product development, process improvements, and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive, test, and conduct offline inspections on all machines at the assigned facility.
• Ability to work across production stations and use required equipment and tools.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including frequent overtime, weekends, or shift rotations.
