What you will do

• Repair and maintain mechanical production equipment, including die units, glue units, conveyors, bindery equipment, and related machinery.
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical lines, circuits, controls, fixtures, motors, and equipment.
• Connect power supply wiring and install conduit for machines, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
• Perform general facility repairs including drywall, woodworking, ceiling tile, and painting.
• Work safely in accordance with OSHA and lockout/tagout standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and multimeters.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical industrial equipment without prints, including older equipment without PLCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC, digital, and analog drives from 1/3 to 100 horsepower, as well as proprietary electronics.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
