Multispecialty Sonographer-Imaging Part Time Nights

Location: Grayslake Outpatient Center, 1475 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, Illinois, United States. Part-time onsite night shift from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; on-call and holiday on-call rotation required.

Salary: USD 42.05–58.88 per hour

What you will do

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, breast, and musculoskeletal specialties.
• Review imaging requests and patient histories, select appropriate protocols, and operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Educate and care for patients before, during, and after procedures, including positioning, lifting, and transport as needed.
• Communicate clinical findings, including acute or critical findings, to radiologists and ordering providers.
• Prepare examination rooms and sterile trays, document procedures, transmit studies to PACS, and prepare preliminary findings when required.
• Manage worklists, maintain supplies and equipment, support quality improvement, and provide clinical instruction to ultrasound students as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound sonography program.
• Certified in two American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography areas, with one additional ARDMS certification required within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Availability for 20 hours per week on scheduled overnight shifts, plus on-call and holiday on-call rotations.
• Ability to work onsite at the Grayslake Outpatient Center and meet applicable healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.
