Vascular Technologist - Per Diem

Pay range: $44.17–$56.32, based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

• Perform vascular ultrasound procedures independently according to departmental policies, radiological standards, and ACR imaging standards.
• Verify patient identity, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination steps.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain patient and staff safety.
• Perform equipment and device quality control, maintain supplies, and keep work areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate patient care with other staff and departments, working independently when required.
• Participate in education and training, including teaching students and supporting new technologists.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Registered Vascular Sonographer certification from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist certification from CCI.
• Two years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, examinations, procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to stand frequently, walk, lift 30–35 pounds, operate radiology equipment, and work around bodily fluids and communicable diseases.
