Process HVAC and Containment Lead (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and oversee HVAC and containment design strategies covering environmental control, pressurization, contamination control, cleanroom classifications, and containment requirements.
• Ensure HVAC designs, equipment selections, and operating strategies support manufacturing requirements, regulatory expectations, personnel safety, and startup readiness.
• Serve as the primary engineering advisor for HVAC and containment systems.
• Lead and oversee engineering and design teams, including daily coordination and participation in design reviews.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for major capital projects exceeding $500 million TIC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience designing and engineering HVAC and containment systems.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, design, constructability, operability, maintainability, and applicable code requirements.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for capital projects exceeding $500 million TIC.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.
• Experience as an Owner’s Representative or in a PMC role for major capital projects exceeding $1 billion TIC.
• Experience supporting commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
