Loss Prevention Engineer (Process Safety)

What you will do

• Provide independent technical oversight of process safety, fire protection, life safety, hazardous materials management, and loss prevention activities.
• Review engineering, procurement, construction, and CQV activities for compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and CQV teams to reduce project risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in process safety, fire protection, or loss prevention.
• Knowledge of applicable fire, life safety, and hazardous materials regulations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses.
• Experience supporting capital projects in industrial or regulated environments exceeding $500M TIC.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or chemical manufacturing facilities.
• PMC or Owner’s Representative experience on capital projects exceeding $1B TIC.
• Knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, OSHA, and process safety management requirements.
• Experience with PHA, HAZOP, commissioning, and startup safety activities.
• Professional Engineer, CFPS, or related certification.
