Senior Property Risk Engineer

Location: Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, United States. The role requires a consistent field presence, with approximately 20%–50% of the time spent with customers onsite or virtually. Customer travel may include long-distance, overnight, and multi-night trips across the assigned region.

Salary: $126,500–$208,700 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Conduct highly complex property risk evaluations, identify exposures and loss controls, and communicate findings to underwriting teams to support risk pricing.
• Provide expert consulting to customers and influence the adoption of recommended risk-management improvements.
• Support risk control consultants and specialists through peer reviews, survey preparation, mentoring, and technical feedback.
• Track emerging issues and loss trends in claims data to strengthen expertise and identify risk-control opportunities.
• Deliver discipline-specific training to consultants, specialists, customers, and business partners.
• Travel frequently to customer locations, including possible overnight and multi-night trips.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or engineering technology.
• At least six years of property risk assessment or consulting experience, or experience in the fire protection industry; eight or more years of demonstrated property risk control expertise is preferred.
• Certification in a recognized risk control discipline, such as PE or CFPS, is preferred.
• Strong communication, consulting, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, motivating, and developing talent.
• Valid driver’s license.
