Project Procurement Buyer

What you will do

• Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies and local commodity strategies aligned with global commodity experts.
• Lead end-to-end procurement across tendering and execution, including vendor selection, negotiations, contract awards, purchase orders, and supplier records.
• Prepare commodity kick-offs and negotiation strategies for ToCo, CTG, and CNI, and document negotiation outcomes.
• Collaborate with project managers, commercial teams, and internal customers to support timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor procurement budgets, market trends, supplier performance, savings opportunities, and process improvements.
• Manage procurement risks related to supply disruption, quality, and compliance while maintaining supplier relationships and promoting digital procurement tools.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, contract management, project procurement, proposal management, or project management.
• Experience with contract negotiations and claim management.
• Ability to develop procurement strategies, qualify and evaluate suppliers, create contract entries, and conduct RFX processes and eAuctions.
• Confidence representing procurement in international teams and working with suppliers, project management, RUs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in SAP and experience in international project business.
• Openness to working with different cultures.
