Procurement Specialist

Location: Metamorfossi, Attiki, Greece; primarily onsite with limited flexibility for remote work under hirify.global policies.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers while monitoring cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition through purchase order issuance.
• Execute purchasing, logistics, and local sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services.
• Track supplier deliveries, expedite orders, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Maintain procurement records and report KPIs, savings, supplier performance, and order status.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, operations, warehouse, finance, quality, legal, suppliers, and logistics providers.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain processes, preferably in a project-driven environment.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement processes, and ERP-based purchasing systems in industrial automation.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, SAP Ariba, or other ERP and procurement platforms, plus strong Microsoft Excel and procurement analytics skills.
• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluent Greek and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Legal authorization and required work permits for employment in Greece. Occasional travel and a valid driving license may be required.
