Registered Nurse Neurosciences Intermediate Full Time Nights (Neurosciences)

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Full-time overnight schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour. Sign-on bonus: USD 3,000; internal employees and rehires who left within one year are not eligible.

What you will do

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill patients in a 24-bed neurosciences intermediate unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Care for patients with traumatic brain injuries, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injuries, seizures, and central nervous system infections.
• Support neurosurgical patients, including aneurysm repair, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, lumbar drains, and post-operative spinal care.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with patients, significant others, and interdisciplinary health teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work full-time night shifts with rotating weekends.
