Location: Home-based or hybrid from any EU country or the UK; the posting lists Amsterdam, Netherlands, and occasional office visits may be required.

What you will do

  • Advise pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients on HTA evidence planning, market access strategy, reimbursement, and value communication.
  • Lead complex global and regional HTA programmes, including EU Joint Clinical Assessments, national submissions, scientific advice, and reimbursement processes.
  • Develop senior client relationships and support proposals, scope definition, pricing, contracting, account growth, and business development.
  • Provide executive oversight across concurrent projects, ensuring scientific quality, strategic relevance, client satisfaction, and commercial performance.
  • Shape HTA consulting offerings and contribute to thought leadership through publications, conference materials, presentations, and industry events.
  • Coach and mentor consultants, support recruitment and capability development, and provide line management where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree or higher in HTA, health economics, economics, life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, medicine, pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Typically 8 or more years of relevant experience in consulting, the pharmaceutical sector, an HTA agency, academia, or a related environment.
  • Extensive experience with HTA evidence strategies and submissions in the UK and/or Europe, including appraisal, scientific advice, or negotiation processes.
  • Experience managing complex client engagements, multidisciplinary teams, and project portfolios, with a strong commercial track record.
  • Strong people leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English is required; applications must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

  • Consultancy experience and an established HEOR, HTA, or market access network.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial design, statistical methods, and evidence synthesis methodology.
  • Quantitative skills in biostatistics and health economic modelling, with knowledge of R or STATA.
