SQE (Machining, Gear, Casting)

Location: Shanghai, China; regular business trips to supplier sites required

What you will do

• Manage supplier quality and development for mass-production materials, including machining, gears, and castings.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and lead supplier evaluations and improvement activities.
• Assess supplier risks and develop supplier capabilities and performance.
• Respond quickly to internal and external customer complaints.
• Manage non-conformances and control incoming inspection instructions for mass-production materials.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality, delivery, and technical issues while maintaining safety, health, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality.
• Good knowledge and experience in machining, gear, and casting categories.
• Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, SPC, QC 7 Tools, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills; willingness to travel regularly to supplier sites.
