Mechanical Engineer (Sensors)

hirify.global develops precision technology, including instruments, sensors, and subsystems. Qualitrol, a hirify.global company, manufactures monitoring and protection devices for electrical assets and OEM customers.

What you will do

• Conduct design changes for product customization based on the current product platform.
• Optimize products through design changes and support production teams in resolving technical problems.
• Qualify second-source parts to improve supply continuity and reduce costs.
• Generate and update engineering drawings, bills of materials, product verification plans, and test reports.
• Define inspection criteria with quality engineers and collaborate with supply chain, quality, mechanical, and firmware teams.
• Lead small-scale CSP/VAVE projects and use business-system tools to drive safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Working knowledge of plastic injection molding, die casting, and machining processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA.
• Good written and spoken English.

• Project management experience.
• Experience in the sensing and control industry.
