Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States. The role is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2027. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, or in hybrid formats, with fully online instruction currently in highest demand. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. New H-1B sponsorship may be affected by current federal and Texas restrictions, and the university will not pay the $100,000 H-1B petition fee.

Salary: Commensurate.

What you will do

• Teach approximately three courses per term, primarily at the undergraduate level.
• Teach Production and Operations Management, Business Process, Quality, and Lean Management, and Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing.
• Potentially teach Supply Chain Management and Business Statistics, along with additional summer courses based on demand.
• Create engaging instructional materials for face-to-face, online, and hybrid delivery, including fully online courses.
• Contribute scholarly and professional work sufficient for AACSB scholarly academic classification and maintain a viable publication pipeline.
• Support academic programs, the department, college, university, profession, or community through service activities.

Requirements

• Terminal doctorate in supply chain management or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited university.
• Eligibility for the AACSB scholarly academic faculty classification, including qualifying publications or a recently completed terminal degree and viable works in progress.
• Documented success teaching supply chain or operations courses, including fully online formats.
• Qualifications to teach the required logistics and supply chain courses.
• Authorization to work for any U.S. employer is required; applicants who require employment visa sponsorship may be affected by current H-1B restrictions.

Nice to have

• At least three years of full-time collegiate teaching experience.
• Industry experience and experience developing industry connections for academic programs.
• Experience creating original online course materials.
• Qualifications to teach Supply Chain Management and Business Statistics.
• Experience with DBA programs or doctoral student supervision.
